Janusz Kaminski
Janusz Kaminski (AFI '87) is Steven Spielberg's primary cinematographer. They have collaborated on MUNICH, THE TERMINAL, CATCH ME IF YOU CAN, MINORITY REPORT, SAVING PRIVATE RYAN, AMISTAD and others. Kaminski has received two Oscars (SCHINDLER'S LIST and SAVING PRIVATE RYAN) and an Oscar nomination (AMISTAD). He won the British Academy Award for SCHINDLER'S LIST. He has received three ASC Award nominations from the American Society of Cinematographers. Kaminski is known for his groundbreaking visual work, including the remarkable D-Day scenes from SAVING PRIVATE RYAN, the precise color design in MUNICH, and the futuristic look of AI.
