On May 10, 2006, the AFI Associates presented the sixth Platinum Circle Award to the multi-talented Arquette family at a special award luncheon sponsored by Tara & Sons at the beautiful Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel.

ABOUT THE PLATINUM CIRCLE AWARD

Beau Bridges presents Dorothea and Daniel Petrie with the 2003 Platinum Circle Award.

Created in 1997 by the AFI Associates, the Platinum Circle Award honors a family whose talent and artistic achievements have made an outstanding contribution to the entertainment community. The highlight of the Associates' event season, all proceeds raised by the Platinum Circle Award help further the mission of the American Film Institute.

Beginning with the Matthau family in 1997, the Platinum Circle Award has been presented to the Debbie Reynolds Family (1998), the Fonda Family (1999), the Petrie Family (2002) and the Leo and Eileen Penn Family (2004).
